The IIBA is a member-driven non-profit organisation, committed to being the pre-eminent focal point for all business activity, present and future, between Ireland and India


The IIBA was founded in 2008 to foster commercial links between Irish and Indian businesses.

As a member-driven non-profit organisation, the IIBA facilitates knowledge-sharing and networking among Irish and Indian business communities. The Association provides valuable networking and influencing opportunities to Members and regular networking events, and is now the leading representative business and networking organisation in Ireland for companies interested in these two markets.


The IIBA's Annual Conference 2016 was held at the IAA. We were delighted to welcome Mary Mitchell O'Connor TD, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, as keynote speaker. Delegates and speakers included CEOs and business leaders from Irish and Indian businesses and higher education. Chaired by RTE's Conor Brophy, the event concluded with a delicious Indian lunch.


Our purpose is to identify commercial opportunities, strengthen our network of relationships, and promote the success of businesses in India and Ireland.
